AIM OF THE NURSING PROGRAMME
Daeyang College of Nursing (DCN) envisions students graduating with a high acquisition of nursing/midwifery knowledge, standards, professionalism and a desire to lead a God-centred life themselves and teach others do the same. throughout their lives, graduates will have a heart to love all people from all nations, a desire to live imitating Jesus Christ as servant-leaders, passion to work for the Kingdom of God and a commitment to care for the least in society in provision of quality care at all times.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The academic requirement for the Nursing programmes is as follows: a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with six credits that includes English and Mathematics and any two science related subjects.
Daeyang College of Nursing will release an advertisement to invite eligible persons to apply for the programmes. Those interested will follow the procedures outlined in the advertisement.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE AND DURATION
The programmes shall comprise of assessed course work and projects. Students shall be required to take all courses offered in the programmes. This is a four year programmes comprising of eight semesters of six months each.
